Surrounded by the vineyards of Southern Utah, friends, family, supporters, and wine lovers gathered to celebrate not only a new collection of wines, but the continued growth of Terra 5047 and the exciting future of winemaking in St. George.
The celebration also marked the official launch of the Terra 5047 Wine Club, giving members the opportunity to take home our Summer Release collection and become part of something much bigger. Guests chose between our annual six-bottle Terra 5047 release or our Altitude Membership, which includes an additional six-bottle Winter Release, exclusive club benefits, and an invitation to one of our most cherished end of year events—the annual Italian sausage-making party, previously reserved only for our winery and brewery partners and longtime supporters. Today, the Terra 5047 Wine Club is available for sign-up both online and at the winery.
Throughout the afternoon, guests enjoyed five artisan food and wine pairing experiences, each thoughtfully designed to showcase the versatility of our wines.
The afternoon began with a refreshing watermelon and feta skewer paired with our bright and vibrant 2024 Rosé. From there, guests explored our playful Bacon Three Ways station, featuring bacon-wrapped Luxardo cherries, mini BLT bites on Bonrue Bakery sourdough, and maple-glazed “clothesline bacon,” all paired with our 2024 Alessio Zinfandel Blend.
One of the day’s most popular stops paired our signature 2024 Chanela Sangiovese Blend with freshly made Margherita and bacon & leek pizzas, while an Al Pastor taco station once again highlighted the bold fruit and spice of the Alessio Zinfandel Blend.
Inside the barrel room, guests gathered around our own Fermentato artisan charcuterie display featuring handcrafted meats, specialty cheeses, and seasonal accompaniments before finishing the afternoon with decadent chocolate brownies and bright lemon bars from Bonrue Bakery, perfectly paired with our 2024 Cabernet Sauvignon.
The soundtrack for the day came courtesy of a talented live trio whose music created the perfect backdrop for guests to relax, visit, and enjoy the vineyard.
Perhaps the highlight of the afternoon for many guests, however, was welcoming guests into the vineyard itself. Our guided vineyard tours offered a behind-the-scenes look at how Terra 5047 wines are grown and crafted. Led by our viticulturist, Tyler Klick, guests sampled our 2024 Chardonnay while learning about our high-elevation vineyard, our growing practices, and the philosophy that guides every bottle we produce.
It was a beautiful June day and an unforgettable opportunity to share with the St. George community what we’ve been building over the past several years—and a glimpse of what’s still to come.
To everyone who joined us for our first annual Summer Wine Release: thank you for being part of this milestone. We can’t wait to welcome you back next year as we continue this new tradition together.
Until then, we’ll see you at the winery—and for our Altitude members, this winter at our Italian sausage-making celebration.
