High-elevation wines from the heart of Utah.

At 5,047 feet above sea level, Terra 5047 is where bold wines meet rare altitude. Nestled on the shoulder of Pine Valley Mountain in Utah’s high desert, every bottle reflects the intensity of sun-drenched days and cool nights—conditions that naturally enhance color, structure, and complexity. Grown, harvested, and bottled entirely on-site, our small-batch wines are the product of volcanic soils, UV-rich elevations, and the collective vision of a family who believed a vineyard could thrive where wild orchards once grew. Terra means earth. And from this earth, something unexpected is flourishing.

A world of flavor.

Cabernet

Cabernet Sauvignon

This Cabernet Sauvignon reveals dark fruit notes of blackberry and cherry, supported by smooth, well-integrated tannins. Crafted for balance and depth, it’s elegant on the palate with a seamless finish. A classic expression of mountain-grown fruit and thoughtful, minimalist winemaking.

Chanela

Chanela Blend

Our take on a Super Tuscan-style blend, Chanela is led by Sangiovese and complemented by darker varietals. Bright red fruit meets structure and finesse, with notes of cherry, red currant, and subtle spice. Expressive, fresh, and food-friendly from first sip to finish.

Alessio

Alessio Blend

A bold, old-world-style Zinfandel blend made from thick-skinned grapes grown at elevation. Rich and jammy with flavors of cherry and plum, Alessio is deep in color and flavor, balanced by structured tannins for a finish that’s both powerful and polished.

Rose

Dalle Vette’ Rosé

A high-elevation blend of Pinot Grigio and Pinot Noir, our Rosé is fermented and aged entirely in concrete. It opens with a floral nose and offers fresh notes of strawberry and watermelon. Balanced acidity and a clean finish make it perfect for warm afternoons and easy pairings.

Chardonnay

Chardonnay

Grown in our high-elevation vineyard and partially fermented in concrete egg tanks, this Chardonnay delivers crisp minerality with layered notes of stone fruit and white blossoms. The result is a bright, elegant wine that captures the purity of our vineyard’s unique climate and soil.

Our family’s winery sits at an elevation of 5,047 feet and rests on the shoulder of Pine Valley Mountain. Over thirty years ago, I came across a natural spring and orchard on the property. The fruit trees reminded me of my grandfather once saying, “Where an orchard can grow, so can a vineyard.” We took that to heart, and in 2006 planted our first vines on this high plateau. Terra 5047 is the fruit of our labor and good fortune. We hope you enjoy it.
